Broadly speaking RTT is a mix of CBT, NLP and hypnotherapy, working with you to re-program your brilliant mind. RTT is the creation of a lady called Marisa Peer who sought to develop a method that would cure any blocks (physical and/or emotional) or unwanted beliefs – fast.

The science behind working with the subconscious mind is based on neuroplasticity – the ability of neurons to form new pathways. The ability of your mind to lay new mental “grooves” to implement new thoughts and behaviours. Much like the brain changes and adapts to learn new skills (a foreign language for example or learning to play tennis) it does the same when “learning” new thoughts, feelings and beliefs.  RTT, hypnotic recordings and visualisations take advantage of this ability.

Another important aspect of the success of my coaching is that the brain does not cope well with conflicting thoughts. An example of this would be the Stroop Test which has proven that – when we are presented with conflicting images – we are more likely to make mistakes and not achieve our goals. My coaching and tools involve reaching clarity and giving yourself clear instructions so self- sabotaging toughts and feelings disappear and make room for success and positive outcomes!

On average 1- 3 sessions are required to achieve your desired outcome. They are usually spaced a month apart.

Often clients come to me with a “shopping list” – various issues = areas in their life they would like to improve.

YES – if some areas are clearly related (i.e. sleep issues and  resulting concentration problems) then they can often be resolved at the same time. In this case  your mind can successfully combine and resolve the issues.

NO – if areas are very different (i.e. wanting to loose weight and improve your public speaking) then separate sessions will need to be scheduled. In this case your mind can only successfully focus on one issue at a time.

You are always in control…otherwise all hypnotherapists would be terribly wealthy hypnotising their clients to give them money and their riches!

Joking aside, the experience of hypnosis feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel relaxed and at ease. Hypnosis is much like the trance you are in when driving, watching an absorbing movie or being totally engrossed in a project. Performed professionally and in full understanding with the client, hypnosis is not only safe but also very relaxing and pleasant.

You CANNOT re-live painful or scary scenes; you will simply re-view those scenes, always remembering that you are in a safe space.

You CANNOT “get stuck” – you are always in control. Some clients even get up to go to the bathroom or talk to someone who may have unwittingly entered the room! And go then back into hypnosis without a problem.

With coaching/self development and awareness are 3 types of change – every person is different and can experience one or a mix:

  1. Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away or very soon after your session or recording – immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviors right in the session.
  2. Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over3
  3. Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life. Alternatively others around you notice and mention the positive changes in you.

Your bespoke recording conditions your mind to “wire in” your desired outcome.

It serves to create a “groove” in your subconscious mind which lays new neural pathways. Repetition then allows your mind to absorb and implement your desired outcome as it realises that’s what you really want.

Remember – the mind does not disiunguish what is real and what isn’t; it brings about what your dominant thoughts are – the thoughts and feelings you outline in your recording.

The answer is pretty much: Yes! Whatever your issue, however long-standing…my coaching, recordings and RTT session(s) can bring outstanding and lasting results!

There are a few exceptions however: Due to the fact that RTT as well as my recordings and visualisations work with mental pictures and regression as well as the ability to differentiate, reason and understand past and present beliefs and emotions , it would be very difficult for some individuals to reap the benefits of my coaching. Examples would be people suffering from severe dementia, experiencing psychotic diseases such as hallucinations or paranoia; or individuals suffering from bipolar disorders or schizophrenia. Finally, people suffering from severe epilepsy should undertake caution when it comes to hypnosis.

Currently online only, via phone call or/and Zoom video call. This works very well and is in no way inferior to face-to-face coaching.

Guided visualisations are different from hypnotic recordings in as they do not specify and cement in particular outcomes. Rather they enable your subconscious to “take a break” whilst finding your own solution, inspired by powerful and relevant imagery. Guided visualisations are extremely useful for finding your own solutions to an issue or creative problem-solving. They are especially suitable for groups.
